Adapt

Ability and capacity for people to secure resources they need to support their wellbeing. Nature vs. Nurture. Germ theory. Cytokines are proteins involved in the immune response and depression. Hereditary, instinctual behaviors, are adaptations to help survival (existence)

Instincts

Resist change. Hereditary behavior. Adaptations to help survival. Non-negotiable. Hardwired purpose of survival. Included in this category is sexuality. Instinctual behavior is observable physiological urges which are traceable to the functioning of the glands, as experience shows condition or influences psychic processes

Sex

Critical Stages: Oral stage. Infant's passionate attachments to parents. In need of nurturing, loving and feeding. Children are born helpless and will in the critical period of sexual plasticity, do anything to avoid abandonment and to stay attached to adults, even if they must learn to love the pain and trauma that adults inflict


Sexual Taste: Influenced by culture and experiences acquired and wired into brain


Perversions: Developed out of unique life experiences and linked to traumatic memories


Fetish: An object that tells a story, captures scenes from childhood trauma and eroticizes them. Mirroring of childhood trauma through repetition of such subtle details is typical of perversions


Shame: Made into pleasure, converted into shamelessness
